Lot of factory debris after opening but velvet brush + carbon brush and no sign of it at all.
My CD has about 200 plays in total.
nah, whom i kidding - every time i hear "love in an elevator" i get physically sick.
And for an album that's 48 minutes long, the sound isn't squashed or dull, it's actually pretty full (especially the bass). Best Aerosmith record by far. Many songs also had alternate titles, for example, "Voodoo Medicine Man" was originally titled "Buried Alive" and "News For Ya Baby". No inner groove distortion (I have at440 so great tracker until the end of side).
Pump est le 10e album studio du groupe de hard rock américain Aerosmith. The majority of these songs can be seen in photos of the studio's whiteboard and in footage from "The Making Of Pump". Pump was the second of three sequentially recorded Aerosmith albums to feature producer Bruce Fairbairn and engineers Mike Fraser and Ken Lomas at Little Mountain Sound Studios. Highly recommended, deep sound, wide, clear, dynamic. Pump "Aerosmith is still the reigning king of the hard-rock (Includes an instrumental hidden track composed & performed by
On one hand, there's more bass and vocal presence on the CD, but there's more dynamic range on the LP.

firmly cementing the band's inability to rock and rolling over into mediocre, pop rock parodying clowns. This sounds really good. Une vingtaine de titres sortiront de cette pré-production, mais le groupe n'en gardera finalement que dix qui s… Data Correct
nowhere near as good soundwise as the 2016 European pressing
I've never heard the original US vinyl to compare, but have heard the original US CD, and this is on par with it.
boston bros gone limp - the sooner we forget everything they did after "rocks" the better. Il a été remasterisé en 2001. En décembre 1988, le groupe se retrouve dans les studios Rik Tinory Productions à Cohasset dans le Massachusetts pour commencer à écrire et répéter les nouveaux titres qui composeront cet album. Where Permanent Vacation seemed a little overwhelmed by its pop concessions, Pump revels in them without ever losing sight of Aerosmith's dirty hard rock core. I bought this Japanese SHM-CD version looking for an upgrade to my standard US CD version on Geffen. Hopefully one day this classic album can get a first-class CD remastering.
Just picked this up at FYE on clearance.
The intention with the album was exploring a rawness that had been glossed over for a commercial sound in Steven Tyler regretted not putting lyrics in the album booklet, something that happened because Geffen was afraid the Aerosmith found themselves in law school textbooks after a small rock band named Pump sued Aerosmith's management company for service mark infringement. "Pump" reached Number 5 in the Billboard Top 200 and produced six singles: "Love In An Elevator" "Janie's Got A Gun"
the follow up to the equally sucky "permanent vacation" comes "pump." mainstream rock never sounded so lame as it does here and they continue to suck to this very day.
Additionally, it is the only Aerosmith album to date to have three Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and three #1 singles on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
Although the sound is fuller, the lead vocal parts have hiss, sort of like a cassette tape version.
Just wondering, what’s the condition of the vinyl and cover ??
In the UK, it was the second Aerosmith album to be certified Silver (60,000 units sold) by the British Phonographic Industry, achieving this in September 1989. Great reissue!
