Rachel is a complete scumbag. If Baam's obsession to see Rachel is his push, then Rachel's desperation to climb the tower is her push. So after that she could never go back to her normal path of life, her newfound pride is to great to apologize to Baam after she betrayed his trust. Please refrain from referring to preview chapters. Firstly: Shibisu isnt a main character. She pleads with him to give up and wait for her like before, however, Baam simply responds with a "goodbye." Also, the question is how Rachel knows about Arlene Grace? if you think about it he selects all the regulars and he could somehow detect that rachel was not the person the tower 'wanted' ,at least not directly, so he must have some sense for what the tower desires and share that value or at least he has some guidelike powers He could probably beat most normal people's ass even before he entered the tower. Baam being clingy. Sure I didn't try to kill him but i ran away from him. Considering that the adverage Regular usually looks out for themselves when climbing the tower her being Loyal to no one is debatable for being 'bad'. We see in the early chapters, in one of Bam flashbacks, where Rachel is being abused by someone(perhaps Arlene -as we know she went nuts after the events with Jahad) and shows a painful expresion. For one they personally chose to do that she never made them do it Koon is proof, he know what she did but chose to 'carry' her up the tower despite knowing he could of killed her in revenge and was within the rights to do so, even if he only had a suspitous idea what happened but he chose not too. We see in the flashbacks that she constantly discouraged him from leaving his hole. Rachel so far in the story is my favourite character. And that would definitely the last push Baam need, to do what he needs to do, especially after finding out his "true" self. Rachel's dream is not about reaching the star but to see a starry night (please correct me if I'm wrong), so why telling Baam of a story reaching a star? About Rachel being Zahards and Arlene`s (Rape)Daughter could not also be that she is maybe the Daughter of Enne Zahard?
